Gregor Orr, our principal, qualified as a Chartered Accountant with small firm in Greenock before joining Henry Brown & Co in 2005, becoming a partner in 2008. Gregor deals with the majority of our SME's and has a particular interest in tax planning, both personal and corporate.
Sandra Olufsen, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, qualifying in 1983. She joined Henry Brown & Co in the same year and has since built up extensive knowledge of limited company accounting and taxation as well as taking responsibility of all of our audit and assurance work.
Nicola McReynolds, our tax manager, joined the firm in 2013 and brings more than a decade’s worth of experience in both personal and corporate tax matters to the benefit of our clients. Having qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2009 while working for a firm in Glasgow, Nicola focuses on providing straightforward tax advice to all our clients regardless of size or wealth and is well versed in dealing with HMRC, particularly the frustrating area of tax credits and also assisting those who are in need of help to bring their tax affairs up to date.
Carol Grant, our accountancy manager, joined Henry Brown & Co in 1979 and has become a cornerstone of the practice over the years. Carol oversees the preparation of the accounts for all of our unincorporated clients across a variety of sectors and is at the same time responsible for assisting clients with the preparation of their quarterly VAT returns and dealing with any VAT queries clients may have.
Fiona Musuraca, payroll manager, joined Henry Brown & Co straight from school and has built up a vast amount of knowledge and experience of PAYE compliance, including the introduction of RTI and auto enrolment.
Jim McIntosh, our former senior partner, now a consultant when required, trained as a Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross, now Deloittes and qualified in 1978 before joing Henry Brown & Co where he was a partner for over 35 years before retiring in March 2016. Jim has a keen interest in agriculture having, for many years, dealt with majority of our farming clients.
