This helpline aims to assist individuals and businesses with various tax queries, including PAYE, National Insurance, and self-assessment forms. Andrew Bartlett, chief executive of Advice Direct Scotland, stated: “We are delighted to be launching this new service, which will help people living in Scotland navigate the complexities of the UK tax system.” The service is particularly beneficial for those who struggle with HMRC's digital services or have tax-related debts.
