HMRC issues tax-free childcare reminder

HMRC will halt Tax-Free Childcare payments for families who fail to log into their accounts every three months. Families can receive up to £2,000 annually, but must confirm their details to maintain eligibility. Thomas Drury, money-saving expert at The Investors Centre, said: "For a family using enough childcare to qualify for the maximum contribution, missing an entire three-month top-up period could mean losing access to as much as £500 per child."
